- What is TYRUN Crew? -

Without you, there's no race.

TYRUN Crew is the volunteer force that runs every event from briefing to last heat. Judges, hospitality, stagehands, head judges — different roles, same mission: deliver a race day athletes never forget. First-timers welcome. Returners encouraged. We train you the morning of, feed you all day, and send you home with stories.

You must be 16 or older to crew. 16- and 17-year-olds need written permission from a parent or guardian — we will email you the form after sign-up.

Race days run 8–10 hours depending on your role. Briefing usually starts at 06:30 and the floor closes around 17:00. We schedule short rotations and meal breaks.

Just yourself, comfortable closed-toe shoes, and a refillable water bottle. We provide the crew kit, food, drinks, and any role-specific equipment.

Nope. Most roles only require enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. The Head Judge role is the only exception — that requires prior TYRUN judging experience.

Absolutely. Tell us in the sign-up form who you would like to be paired with and we will keep you on the same team or shift where possible.

After your event, we send you a code valid for any one TYRUN race in the same season. Pick the city, pick the division, lock it in.

Travel is on you, but for events further than 100 km from your home address we cover one night of accommodation in the partner hotel. Mention it in the form.

Yes — we love returning crew. Sign up once and pick the events you can make. Crew at three or more and you get an additional kit upgrade for the next season.

Yes, absolutely. After you sign up, someone from our team will contact you to plan your volunteer shift around your race schedule, so you can still participate and help out on the same day.
