Questions, answered.
TYRUN is a seasonal fitness race where running meets strength. You run, you hit workout stations — bike, sled, row, ski, carries and more — and you keep going until the finish line. It is built to test if you are actually fit: not just strong, not just fast, but complete.
No. TYRUN has three divisions, and the Scaled division is built specifically for beginners and first-time racers: same race, lighter loads, reduced complexity. If you train a few times a week, you can take the start line.
Scaled if this is your first race or you are building your base. Open if you have a solid fitness foundation and want the standard competition level. Pro if you are an advanced hybrid or functional fitness athlete chasing maximum intensity. Still unsure? Take the 1-minute Division Finder above.
In most cases yes, subject to availability in your new division. Manage your registration or contact our support team — division changes close shortly before race day, so do not wait until the last week.
All race equipment — bikes, sleds, rowers, skis, sandbags, medballs — is provided on course. Personal items like grips, belts, chalk and your own shoes are allowed. Full specifications are in the official rulebook for your division.
TYRUN is raced in waves, so you can start alongside your training partners and crew. Check the ticket options for the available race formats at each event.
Tickets are personal and generally non-refundable, but transfer options are available so another athlete can take your spot. The exact conditions are listed in the ticket terms at checkout.
Every season starts from zero with a new workout and a clean leaderboard. Your finish times across Season 2 episodes rank you in your division and age group — and the leaderboard decides who qualifies for the S2 Finals in Gent.
Doors and first waves start at 08:00 AM at every Season 2 event. Your exact wave time is confirmed in your race briefing email before race day.
